Originally from Little Rock, Laiken graduated from the University of Central Arkansas in 2022 and obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in public Relations and Communication. In her downtime she likes to spend time with her husband, Regan and her 2-year-old son, Barrett. Laiken says that her son is the definition of all boy, he loves anything “Dino” and Disney’s “Cars” related. Laiken is proud of her husband who is a deputy for the Faulkner County Sheriff’s Office. Together, they enjoy going to the park, browsing Target, and watching “Cars” on repeat! Laiken has always found inspiration in the quote, “She believed she could, so she did.”
Jamie Vidimos has worked in and around healthcare for over 15 years. Initially, she began as a Business Office Manager in an assisted living facility. After transitioning into a corporate trainer role, she then spent 11 years training Business Operations, which ultimately led to administration and leadership roles. Jamie has a passion for training and leadership. She says she loves to see when the learner “gets it”, and loves to help others succeed. Jamie says, “Everyone has their own strength they bring to a team. It is the leader’s job to make sure those strengths are valued.”
Jamie has always had a passion for helping people. When she was young, her mother would take her after church to visit some of the elderly ladies. She now looks back on those memories and understands why she was led down this path. Jamie feels very lucky to still have both of her parents living close to her and her husband in Cabot. She enjoys spending as much time as she can with her family and her in-laws.
Jamie is also very proud of her husband Derek, who is retired Air Force. She has had the opportunity to be a military support wife when spouses are deployed and enjoys cultivating those relationships. Jamie and Derek live in Cabot with their two children. Katie is in the 10th grade and Harley is in the 7th grade. Jamie loves spending “girl time” with Katie and going to get their nails done. She also loves to watch Harley ride his bike through the neighborhood while making new friends. Jamie is always telling her children to think positively. As she says, “If you wake up in the morning and say,
‘today is going to be a great day,’ then you have set the tone of the day for positivity.”

Nicole graduated from Baptist Health School of Nursing in 2006 and received her bachelor’s in science & nursing at Capella University. She has been an avid part of the Emergency Medicine community since February 2007, and now has over 15 years of experience caring for critically injured or ill patients. Prior to joining Cabot Emergency Hospital (CEH), Nicole participated in the successful opening of another emergency department in a Central Arkansas hospital.
Nicole and her team opened a new facility and created a successful stroke and trauma program earning a trauma designation from the Arkansas Department of Health. Among Nicole’s accomplishments in the Emergency Department, one thing she is most proud of is her ability to help new team members by pushing them to excel at their craft. In her words, “Growing today’s ‘baby birds’ by investing in them has been one of the most rewarding parts of my nursing career.”
Nicole knew she wanted to take care of people from an early age. She vividly remembers helping her mother care for her youngest brother after multiple heart surgeries when he was only several days old. In those moments she recognized her passion for helping those in need. There is no other place Nicole could imagine herself working except in the Emergency Department.
Nicole has one daughter, Madelyn, who is her heart. Madelyn and Nicole enjoy spending time outdoors with their Great Dane, Poe. When asked about joining CEH, Nicole says, “I am very grateful for the opportunity to join an amazing team dedicated to providing healthcare to the community of Cabot and surrounding areas. I appreciate this growth opportunity and look forward to serving you.”

Dr. Brian Baird, a native of South Arkansas, graduated from Southern Arkansas University in Magnolia, Arkansas before obtaining his medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 2010. He then completed his emergency medicine residency at the University of Florida Academic Health Center in Jacksonville, Florida, where he was chief resident. Dr. Baird is certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine and has experience in several high-volume emergency departments across Arkansas.
He and his wife, Ashley, have been married twelve years. They are parents to son, Braden, and to twin girls, Dani and Ryan. In his spare time, Dr. Baird enjoys traveling, golfing, and most importantly, spending time with his family.
Dr. Baird is motivated by his faith as well as a sense of duty to his patients. As he explains, “I strive to treat patients as I would treat my own family, and my goal is to provide the very best care possible to every patient who is in my care.”
Dr. Baird’s favorite quote is from Martin Luther King, Jr., who once said, “The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.”
Dr. Scott Archer is a Board Certified Emergency Physician. He just completed his 3rd board recertification and has been providing emergency care for patients in central Arkansas for over 30 years. He is a graduate of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) and a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, Christian Medical and Dental Association, and Medical Education International.
Dr. Archer is passionate about overseas medical missions and has taught and delivered health care in a number of resource-poor countries. He is also a member of the Disaster Assistance Response Team with Samaritan’s Purse. Locally, he serves as the president of the board for Caring Hearts Pregnancy Center.
Dr. Archer’s greatest joy is his marriage to his wife, Kathie. They are blessed with seven children and fifteen grandchildren. Dr. Archer credits his passion for medicine and serving others to the Great Physician, who has changed his life.

Dr. Jim Box graduated from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) in 1983. He then continued at UAMS to complete his emergency medicine residency in 1986. He has maintained board certification and practiced emergency medicine in the Central Arkansas area for over 37 years. During the course of his career, Dr. Box has served as an instructor in the UAMS Emergency Medicine Residency Program, a flight physician on a helicopter air ambulance, and also as an attending emergency physician in all of the major Little Rock hospitals.
Dr. Box and his wife, Lisa, have been married for 38 years. They have two adult children, and two young grandchildren who consume most of their attention outside of working hours. Dr. Box says he is motivated by the privilege of interacting with patients on the level of their basic needs, whether it be to address concerns, ease fears, or provide them with quality care. As he explains, “My father was a physician in a rural Arkansas county for forty years, and I saw that his practice provided him with purpose. I wanted that same sense of engagement and purpose myself.”
Dr. Box’s favorite quote is from Charles Swindoll, who once said, “Life is 10% what happens to you, and 90% how you react to it.”
Dr. Scott Darnell is a board-certified emergency medicine physician who has been working in central Arkansas hospitals since completion of his residency in 2010. He was born and raised in Little Rock where he graduated from Little Rock Central High School. After completing a B.S. in Biology at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, he returned to Little Rock for medical school and an emergency medicine residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Dr. Darnell has worked at several emergency departments throughout the state and currently serves in a leadership role as assistant director of a local emergency department.
He is arried to Natalie, and they have three sons, Owen, Henry, and Benjamin. In his spare time, Dr. Darnell enjoys outdoor activities, including cycling and tennis. He has coached his kids in multiple sports and most recently coached Henry’s basketball team at the Boy’s Club. He and his family also enjoy spending weekends boating and fishing at Greers Ferry Lake.
Dr. Darnell decided to go into medicine after a collapsed lung as a youth resulted in an out-of-state weeklong hospital stay. “The lack of communication that I experienced during that time has motivated me to provide as much information to my patients as possible so they feel comfortable with their medical care. I want my patients to leave the hospital with all their questions answered.”
Dr. Darnell’s favorite quote is from Winston Churchill, who once said, “We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.”
Dr. Justin White is a native of Harrison, Arkansas, and a graduate of the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock in 2001 and was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Dr. White completed a family medicine residency at the University of Texas Health Center in Tyler, Texas, where he was chief resident his final year. He then attended the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, Tennessee, where he completed a fellowship in emergency medicine.
Dr. White is board certified in both family medicine and emergency medicine. He has served in numerous leadership positions in local hospitals during his career, including chief of staff and emergency department director. He currently serves as Chief Medical Officer for Cabot Emergency Hospital. Dr. White and his wife, Cynthia, have three children, William, Margaret Catherine, and Jonathan. In his free time, Dr. White enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family on Greers Ferry Lake.
Dr. White grew up in a healthcare environment as his father was a hospital administrator and his mother was a nurse. His daily motivation is seeing improvement in his patients. As he explains, “I enjoy taking patients in the most critical of situations and caring for them to bring them back to a normal state of health.”

Dr. Mason is from Little Rock, Arkansas, and has been an integral part of the emergency medical field in the Central Arkansas area for over thirty years. He completed his undergraduate at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, then later graduated with his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) in 1986. He continued at UAMS to complete his residency in emergency medicine in 1989.
Dr. Mason has been a Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physician for thirty-four years and still continues serving his community with both leadership and talent. He has had extensive involvement in Emergency Medical Services (EMS) since 1989. He began serving as medical director for the Metropolitan Emergency Medical Services (MEMS) in 1989. Soon after, he served in this role for the Little Rock Fire Department (LRFD), North Little Rock Fire Department (NLRFD) and Maumelle Fire Department (MFD).
Dr. Mason is the founding partner of Medical Emergency Trauma Associates (META) which was initiated in 1989. He led this esteemed group of emergency medicine physicians to provide top-notch emergency care within many area healthcare facilities. Dr. Mason is also the co-founder of the Arkansas Emergency Physicians Foundation (AEPF) which evaluates the performance and outcomes of the care provided by the EMS services in Central Arkansas. Recently, Dr. Mason was also invited to join the National Major Metropolitan EMS Medical Directors Consortium.
Dr. Mason’s favorite quote is by Albert Einstein, “The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.”
Nathan Jeffers is a native of Jacksonville, Arkansas, although he says he was also “partially raised in Cabot” as he and his family attended church at First Baptist Cabot from an early age.
In 2012, Nathan graduated from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UALR) with a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communication with an Information Technology minor. After graduating, Nathan began gaining experience in sales and marketing by starting a small business web design company. In 2013 he began selling real estate, and would later co-found Edge Realty in Jacksonville with a friend and business partner.
In 2016, Nathan experienced a life altering medical event which influenced his personal and professional journeys. In his words, “My perspective on life shifted. It made me want to make a positive impact in the healthcare field in the same way those who had cared for me made positive impacts in my life. It ignited a genuine desire to help people in their time of crisis or need.” This experience served as the catalyst for Nathan to obtain a Master of Arts in Applied Communication Studies with an emphasis in Health Communication from UALR in 2021.
Nathan’s “favorite person in the world” is his wife, Jessica. Jessica spent many years working as a CVICU nurse before later completing her Family Nurse Practitioner degree at UCA. Together, Nathan and Jessica enjoy fishing, hiking, camping, and spending “patio time” with their two schnauzers.
