Medical Director & Emergency Medicine Physician

Dr. Justin White is a native of Harrison, Arkansas, and a graduate of the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock in 2001 and was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Dr. White completed a family medicine residency at the University of Texas Health Center in Tyler, Texas, where he was chief resident his final year. He then attended the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, Tennessee, where he completed a fellowship in emergency medicine.

Dr. White is board certified in both family medicine and emergency medicine. He has served in numerous leadership positions in local hospitals during his career, including chief of staff and emergency department director. He currently serves as Chief Medical Officer for Cabot Emergency Hospital. Dr. White and his wife, Cynthia, have three children, William, Margaret Catherine, and Jonathan. In his free time, Dr. White enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family on Greers Ferry Lake.

Dr. White grew up in a healthcare environment as his father was a hospital administrator and his mother was a nurse. His daily motivation is seeing improvement in his patients. As he explains, “I enjoy taking patients in the most critical of situations and caring for them to bring them back to a normal state of health.”

Dr. White’s favorite quote is from Benjamin Franklin, who said, “By failing to prepare you are preparing to fail.”
