Nicole McMinn

Chief Nursing Officer

Nicole graduated from Baptist Health School of Nursing in 2006 and received her bachelor’s in science & nursing at Capella University. She has been an avid part of the Emergency Medicine community since February 2007, and now has over 15 years of experience caring for critically injured or ill patients. Prior to joining Cabot Emergency Hospital (CEH), Nicole participated in the successful opening of another emergency department in a Central Arkansas hospital.

Nicole and her team opened a new facility and created a successful stroke and trauma program earning a trauma designation from the Arkansas Department of Health. Among Nicole’s accomplishments in the Emergency Department, one thing she is most proud of is her ability to help new team members by pushing them to excel at their craft. In her words, “Growing today’s ‘baby birds’ by investing in them has been one of the most rewarding parts of my nursing career.”

Nicole knew she wanted to take care of people from an early age. She vividly remembers helping her mother care for her youngest brother after multiple heart surgeries when he was only several days old. In those moments she recognized her passion for helping those in need. There is no other place Nicole could imagine herself working except in the Emergency Department.

Nicole has one daughter, Madelyn, who is her heart. Madelyn and Nicole enjoy spending time outdoors with their Great Dane, Poe. When asked about joining CEH, Nicole says, “I am very grateful for the opportunity to join an amazing team dedicated to providing healthcare to the community of Cabot and surrounding areas. I appreciate this growth opportunity and look forward to serving you.”

Nicole’s favorite quote is from Melanie Koulouris, “Be humble in your confidence yet courageous in your character.”
