Emergency Medicine Physician
Dr. Scott Archer is a Board Certified Emergency Physician. He just completed his 3rd board recertification and has been providing emergency care for patients in central Arkansas for over 30 years. He is a graduate of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) and a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, Christian Medical and Dental Association, and Medical Education International.
Dr. Archer is passionate about overseas medical missions and has taught and delivered health care in a number of resource-poor countries. He is also a member of the Disaster Assistance Response Team with Samaritan’s Purse. Locally, he serves as the president of the board for Caring Hearts Pregnancy Center.
Dr. Archer’s greatest joy is his marriage to his wife, Kathie. They are blessed with seven children and fifteen grandchildren. Dr. Archer credits his passion for medicine and serving others to the Great Physician, who has changed his life.
Dr. Archer’s favorite verse is from the Bible, “This God—his way is perfect; the word of the LORD proves true; he is a shield for all those who take refuge in him. For who is God, but the LORD? And who is a rock, except our God?” Psalms
